What it is: The capacity upgrade — unlimited films (vs. 50 on the front end), up to 15-minute films (vs. 3 min), 180-day storage (vs. 60-day), multi-channel publishing, a content calendar and analytics.
My take: ✅ Worth it for serious creators. The front end’s 50-film / 3-minute cap is fine for testing, but anyone running a real channel will hit it within weeks. If you’re committing to cartoon content as a channel strategy, Elite removes the ceiling. Skip it if you’re just experimenting.
Upgrade 2 — Pro ($47)
What it is: The quality upgrade — Pro Video Engine, pro image quality, 6 extra cinematic styles, 11 cinematic transitions, a voiceover studio, multi-track timeline, 1080p exports and a VIP render queue.
My take: ✅ Best quality jump. This is the upgrade that visibly changes output: cinematic styles + 1080p + proper transitions is the difference between “AI cartoon” and “looks intentional.” If your videos represent a brand or a client-facing channel, this matters. Casual users can skip it.
Upgrade 3 — Studio / Boards ($37)
What it is: The clip toolkit — instant standalone clips, photo animation, video extension and 7 directed camera styles. Built for short-form output.
My take: ⚠️ Optional. Useful if your whole game is Shorts/Reels/TikTok — instant clips and photo animation speed up that workflow a lot. If you’re making longer YouTube episodes, the front end plus Elite covers you.
Upgrade 4 — AI Agent / MCP Connector ($37)
What it is: Control RocketToons from inside ChatGPT or Claude via MCP — chat-built storyboards, clip rendering on command. Prompt-native workflow instead of clicking through the dashboard.
My take: ⚠️ For power users. If you live in ChatGPT/Claude and think in prompts, this is a genuine workflow upgrade. If you prefer a visual dashboard, you’ll never open it. Niche appeal, fairly priced for what it is.
Upgrade 5 — Reseller ($97 / $197)
What it is: Sell RocketToons accounts to clients and keep 100% — Reseller 25 ($97) or Reseller 100 ($197).
